Upper Mustang Trek Itinerary
Day 1-2 Kagbeni ( 2,810 m) → Chhusang( 2,980 m) → Samar( 3,660 m
Walk through red escarpments and Tibetan- style townlets with first panoramic views of Nilgiri and Tilicho Peak.
Day 2-3 Syangboche ( 3,800 m) → Ghiling( 3,570 m) via Dajori La( 3,735 m)
Cross high desert passes and enjoy stunning wind- eroded geographies and ancient Mustang cloisters.
Day 3–5 Dhakmar( 3,820 m) → Charang( 3,560 m) → Ghar Gompa( 3,925 m)
Explore Dhakmar’s red defiles, the 8th- century Ghar Gompa, and the major dzong of Charang.
Day 6 Lo- Manthang (3,840 m)
Enter the walled area of Lo- Manthang with sweeping Himalayan desert decor and ancient delve complexes.
Day 7 – 9 Ghar Gompa ( 3,920 m) → Ghiling( 3,570 m)
Discover Lo- Manthang’s royal culture, sacred cloisters, and wide views of Damodar and Mustang Himal.
Day 11 – 13 Chele( 3,100 m) → Jomsom( 2,700 m)
Descend into the dramatic Kali Gandaki Valley with apple vineyards, mule caravans, and views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna.
